Recently Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy (DUMTP) was privileged to receive funding from the Direct Aid Program (DAP) supported by the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City. DAP is a flexible small grants program funded by the Australian Government which aims to address humanitarian hardship through funding small-scale community-based development projects.
The funding received from this program allowed for the purchase of valuable clinical education resources for students of the Bachelor of Rehabilitation Techniques (Speech and Language Therapy) at DUMTP, which commenced this August. Resources purchased include patient assessment and therapy tools such as formal assessment kits, toys, books and medical products. These resources will ensure that the Bachelor students are able to practice their clinical skills and develop the clinical competencies necessary to be able to provide quality speech and language therapy services within Vietnam.
DUMTP and Trinh Foundation Australia offer their appreciation to the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City and to the Australian Government for enabling these resources to be made available to students.
Our database contains the locations of over 33 speech therapists and clinics located in Vietnam.
